Even with the "Automatic time setting" selected, the time seemed to drift a minute or two. Yesterday I reset the selection and got this message When connected to BMW Online, the date and time are set automatically. I think that means I need to use BMW Online periodically to set the clock. Perhaps they use NTP but only when an IP connection is established with BMW Online.
